Lev is awesome! He got back to me right away when I contacted him about getting a new gate for our side yard. I gave him the measurements and we scheduled the installation the next week.

He gave us a heads up on the day of installation, to let us know when-abouts he'd be arriving.

We're very happy with the quality of the gate and the fit. The gate we were replacing was so old and rickety. It dragged on the ground with a horrid sound when you opened and closed it,the locks wouldn't latch, and it loved giving people splinters. It was awful and not secure.

Lev was very professional and we're looking forward to replacing our RV gate sometime in the new year year with Lev as well.

I highly recommend Lev if you need a new gate installed.

The sales person who quoted us said the gates would be installed in 4 hours. Well, it took several weeks of us calling, and several broken appointments before they finally completed the job. They left a big mess in our yard that they said they would clean up; but they never did. We had to hire a landscaper to restore our yard, so that we could actually use the gates.Their customer service is really poor.

(update: I had a landscaper come out and clean everything up so that it looks really nice. I submitted the bill for this service to Jennifer and Mark at First Impressions, and their company paid for it. So I'm upgrading my review from One star to Two stars.)

I found Abraham on Yelp and am very happy that I called him.  I initially wanted just a block wall to replace an old 97 ft long wood fence.  Abraham and his crew were great in removing the old wood fence, pouring the block wall foundation, and building a very solid block wall. They had the wall completed in 3 days and did an amazing job.   We also had him install two new custom-made iron gates, pavers to expand a sidewalk, and stepping stones in the front yard.   We will definitely use Abraham again.

If you need a fence stop looking. Bob and his team are awesome. Another fence company let us down during our pool build and these guys stepped in and they were able to accommodate our needs. He even gave us advice our pool company didn't catch. Super nice no BS company. This is actually the 2nd time we used them, I forgot we used them 4 years ago. Happy experience both times

Just had a wonderful experience with Sunset Gates.  They replaced two gates and were completely professional, not pushy, and even did a little improvement (a better latch) when we realized we hadn't ordered a thumb latch for the front gate.  Both gates are beautiful, solid, and look like they will last forever.

Very happy with this company.  You can't go wrong trusting them to do a great job at a reasonable price.

Alex was great from the start with communication through yelp and text.  The door to our courtyard was rusted and had broken a hinge.  His team fixed the door, replaced the hinge, and also gave it new life with a fresh coat.  The timing was to be expected with a fix and we are happy with the finished project.  We would recommend IMS to anyone looking for a gate or repair.

Juan and his team at JM Custom Iron Works did an amazing job fabricating and installing our RV and Pedestrian gates!  They are gorgeous.

Everything that Juan said he would do, he did.  He came out to our house multiple times... consulting with us, measuring, validating our support posts, etc.  He sent us several gate style and powder coating color options so that we could have several to review with our HOA. He never once pressured us (unlike others who came out.)  The bottom line is that his work was impeccable, his installation was precise, and his price was very reasonable, and actually half of the quote from one competitor.

So glad we found Paul! We recently purchased a cute 1930's house that had a deteriorating wooden gate and Paul's artistic touch was the perfect addition to the exterior of our home. The corrugated metal panels and patina are such a perfect fit for the house's aesthetic. He really is a true artist and such a great guy! The cost was comparable to wood which seems insane when you think about the longevity of metal AND having such an artisan doing the work.

I bought my home with 3 very bad looking gates, with one gate leaning so much that it was difficult to close. Alex came out and replaced my gate slats, repainted the gate, and welded the gate so that it will now close and operate like an actual gate.

The gates are beautiful and look brand new. You can review the three photos of the gates vs a photo of what they looked like before (I can't load more than 4 pics)

His pricing was very fair and he responded quickly to any questions. He is very friendly and did not pressure me to make a decision when he provided an estimate. I will absolutely do business with him again. If you have awful looking gates like I did, I would recommend that you work with him!

Not the cheapest, just the best. Highly professional from start to finish. We had an unusual situation - a 50-year-old redwood fence overgrown with literally tons of cat's claw vines. The overgrowth was about 12 feet high and 8 feet thick along the 90 food length of our back yard. This isn't the kind of demo Sunset usually has to do, but they quickly arranged for another contractor with a backhoe and large truck to haul the cat's claw away in just two hours! All in all, a great experience, and the fence they put up - in just one day! - is beautiful.

We used Ron to create 3 gates for our property and are happy to recommend him. Ron responded quickley to my initial call, came to our house to take measurements and provide an estimate. He provided a number of options as far as the type and color of the slats to be used. From the time we gave him the approval to the time the 3 custom gates were installed it took less than 1 week! We needed the work done quickly so we appreciated the attention Ron gave us. Our gates look and fit great, all done within our budget.

Michael was super professional, transparent and friendly. He provided the most competitive cost and based on previous experience with some other local pool net/fence company, we were ready to try someone new. He did a wonderful job installing our new fence on our new travertine pool deck. He communicated very well throughout the process and took all of my concerns into consideration. He knocked it out of the park. The fence looks way better than I ever expected and it seems to be a very study and safe product. I have never left a negative review in my life, this company is literally THAT BAD, that I felt a responsibility to write this. I reached out to Just Gates a week ago and asked for a quote on my RV Gates. The owner , Carol, said she might have time The following day (Saturday) to come by, but said she would let me know.

So, Saturday comes around, haven't heard from Carol, no big deal . I'm out with my family and all the sudden I get a call, it's Carol, and she says she's out front of my house. Weird? I was a bit thrown off and I think she could tell due to the confusion in my voice. So she immediately says I'm sorry, I realized earlier I was calling the wrong number and leaving messages on the wrong voicemail. But we are here. Mmmmmm-k? To this day I still don't know if I'm upset with her pathetic excuse, or impressed she had the ball sacs to use it on a new customer.. I think I'm a little bit of both. Moving on. So I explained that I was out with my family, and due to her not calling ahead of time, I couldn't get there to meet her. I gave her permission to measure the gates and take photos without us there, she did, and she said I'd get my quote on Friday of the following week (today). I had gotten quotes from 2 other gate companies that ran numbers and gave me a quote on the spot (I always get three quotes prior to making large purchases) , so I thought a week was steep, but due to some of the positive reviews I read I decided to go along with it.

Today rolls around and I get an email from Carol stating due to unforeseen circumstances, my quote will hopefully be ready on 8/25.. which is over a week away. I replied to her email pointing out the fact that I've seen previous reviews call out the fact that her company is wish washy with timelines and commonly fails to complete things when they say they will. I informed her that her services are no longer needed etc. I then fired that sucker off to her and thought that would be it ‍

This is where this company went from being wish washy to complete shit show in 2.5 seconds.

Carol literally replied back stating .. and I quote.. We are sorry you feel that way. Would you mind forwarding those bad reviews . We are so busy we haven't been able to follow up with reviews. .

Carol (idk why I keep saying her name, I think it just reminds me of all the carol memes out there.. they have all the sudden become relatable) LITERALLY asked me to send her over her OWN COMPANIES REVIEWS cause she's just that busy. The worst part?? I fuckin' did it!!  .
